Rocket League is a vehicular soccer game developed by Psyonix. Since its release in July of 2015, Rocket League has garnered over 25 million registered players. With a refreshed spin on soccer, where supersonic acrobatic rocket-powered battle-cars take to the field, Rocket League has attracted a very dedicated player base. Many of these players put their skill to the test in the ranked arena, which offers 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 game modes. The top 100 in skill rating in each game mode are featured on the main menu leaderboards. A bulk of these players participate in the Rocket League competitive scene, which holds regular ESL and PRL online tournaments, and boasts large events such as Dreamhack, Xgames, NBC Sports, and Psyonix’s signature Rocket League Championship Series. In the past few months, the competitive scene has been bursting at the seams. From the RLCS Season 3 3v3 tournament that ended on June 4th of this year, to the culmination of NBC Sports 2v2 tournament on August 27th, nearly $600,000 has been awarded!

Joining our Discord and participating in the Rocket League text channel is a great first step in getting involved with the Rocket League community here at CU. We will be regularly hosting club meet ups and in-person Rocket League tournaments, and the Discord will be the first place you’ll hear about it. In a few short weeks, the CU Boulder Rocket League team will be competing in our first tournament as a Collegiate team in the Tespa $50,000 Collegiate tournament! Down the road, we hope to field a competitive team in the College Carball Association. Your participation in the CCA Discord and as a registered CU Boulder player is paramount to us getting officially registered as a chapter in the CCA, and competing in college invitational tournaments. In late October, Dreamhack hits Denver to form one of the biggest Rocket League events to date. We hope to bring our Rocket League team to compete at Dreamhack Denver 2017 and represent CU Boulder proudly. The button on the left will lead you to the CCA registration page which we encourage all CU Rocket League players to sign up for. The button on the right will lead you to our own tryouts form and will put you on the list for consideration for our teams.
